Hey guys,

For those who wish to rebuild there transmission pump. You are probably want to know how to remove it.

First off, This is a guide only! I hold no responseibility for your choices and actions.

Ok, You need to remove the transmission from the car. (This is a different how to later)

With the gearbox removed, You will need:

A VERY clean workspace, and I mean spotless that you would eat off of it....Any dirt gets in and your in trouble.
A 13mm Spanner/Socket
A 10mm Spanner/Socket
Plenty of clean rags

Ok here we go, Providing you dont have any oil in the transmission.

Flip it up on its back/side and remove the transmission pan. (13mm Bolts) There is about 16 of them

Once you have removed them, now you can pull the pan off and remove the gasket.

Now its time to remove the transmission filter. All you need to do, is twist, wiggle and pull. It just slides out.

Now you will see a metal pipe, It runs from next to where you just removed the filter to the other end of the transmission. There will be 2 brackets holding it in place. They are both 2 10mm bolts. Remove these and now the pipe just slides out.

Also where you removed the filter, Just next to it will be a solenoid with 2 10mm bolts holding it in. You need to remove this. Only remove it from this end, and let it hang out of the way with the wires still connected to the other end of the transmission.

Now you need to remove the 13mm bolts holding the pump in place.

These are found at the front of the transmission where the torque convertor sits. There is about 7 bolts to remove.

Once you have done this. You need to slide the pump out through the front where you just removed the bolts from.

You may have to pry it out from the back with a screwdriver, BUT BE CAREFULL not to damage anything!

Sorry I didn't take any pics when I did this, considering I just done it, I should have taken photos....
Hope this helps!!

Cheers Nackerz.
