Well as most of you know, I bought a vl N/A for $300...Well the motor out of that will be the donor motor for this...
Here is a couple of pics of the motor..
So I pulled her out, And had a quick look over the motor...
Found there was some oil coming from behind the top timing cover. So pulled the cover off, and there it was....A leaking seal.
So rang up and got a Manual spigot bearing and seal orded....Pick them up 2moz.
In the second pic, you can see where I wiped the wet oil...and where I didn't wipe!
In my findings, I also found 1 broken exhaust stud...The previous owner must of done it up too tight and broke it.
But other then that, Its a good motor with only 200, odd thousand K's....So for $300 I got a good motor for this and a new shell with less rust for my street/show car project that i'm building for my missus!

Well yesterday afternoon cece was having a lie down.....So I decided I would do the engine swap..
Cost me $12.50 for a seal and $10 for a manual spigot bush
