Raptor Charged Ute

Hi There.

This is my series II VY poverty pack ute. I've had it a bit over 2.5yrs and always tinkering with it.

The day I got it-



Next up. Got a hard lid for it and My Father and I made up a Ute Swag for weekends away-







Then the go fast bits got added. Starting with Yella Terra 1.9:1 roller rockers, Manifold spacer, 69mm Throttle body and cold air box from Mace Eng, Manta 2.5 inch cat back twin s/steel exhaust, blocked off the EGR pipe and then a Raptor V Pro street supercharger-



Along the way I've also add a Billet Products shifter, Exedy Brass button single mass clutch, Twin 100 cpi Ballistic cats and a limited slip diff with 3.73:1 gears.

18 x 8 Speedy Cheetah wheels, Gme Uhf radio, Pioneer 6.5 inch door speakers, Pioneer 600w amp, L.E.D lights in the tray, Autometer Boost and Air/fuel gauges in a dash pod,Shift light-







It's also lowered all round on Kingsprings.

1 st dyno run it made 185rwkw with std cats-



15.2 @ 94 mph down the 1/4 but that was before the cats and diff were done so I'll have to pull my finger out and head down the the strip again soon, Hoping for a low-mid 14.

Is that airbrushed on the bonnet or whats the go there champ?

im guessing the bonnet is more likely to be a photo with the bonnet up and a photo with the bonnet down then some joining of the 2 on photo shop after erasing some of the bonnet. Is that even remotely close?

Yeah I spoke with him earlier, it was done in photo shop

Yeah it's a photoshop job done by a good mate of mine.

Was the raptor setup a complete package or did you source the charger individually and pipe it yourself????

Complete kit mate, everything included from 36lbs injectors, Iridium spark plugs, pipe work and tune from Chiptorque.
The only extra was that wasn't in the kit was a bottle of Loctite.
It all turned up in a box, took about 6-8 beers to fit then I had to send the ECU to Chiptorque Brisbane to have the ECU modded/tune fitted which took the longest week in my life. lol

And I must add that the service and after sales service from Tim at Raptor is second to none!

Bloody hood lining is falling down now. Was that an in built fault with every Commodore made or what! lol
Been thinking about mounting the the UHF up there anyway ( Truck style ) so it could be a good thing. Make up some sort of surround out of alloy or whatever and get it upholstered and get an extension cord for the Mic lead so it's not hanging down truck style and have it in the centre console.

New BOV got sent out today. Stepping it up from a Bosch 28mm to a Greddy 32mm
Still going to be a plumbed back jobby to try and keep it a little bit legal lol

Also going to get a clear top for the MACE air box made up.
